The Okahandja Motor Club was founded and affiliated to the Namibian Motor Sport Federation in 2008, to promote motor sport in Okahandja and Namibia.  Our goal is to facilitate opportunity for people who love their cars and speed, to test their ability on a legal and controlled environment.  Our aim is to POSITIVLY promote MOTORSPORT and more specifically DRAG RACING in conjunction with the NMSF in Namibia.

As a motor club, our emphasis is on providing events for motor enthusiasts, motor sport lovers and people who love their cars and bikes.  The spotlight on our events are always aimed at fun for the participants and to entertain our spectators.

We have held many successful events since or affiliation to the NMSF in 2008. Our events draw entrants and spectators form around Namibia and South Africa.  The Okahandja Air Strip, our race track, makes for an ideal track for this sport, attractive for entrants and spectators alike.  We are a very active club and are involved with Motorsport at many levels of the sport.

All the events are hosted in conjunction with and as prescribed by the Namibian Motorsport Federation and will be conducted as per the Rules and Regulations of the Namibian Motorsport Federation and the Namibia Sports Commission.  

We are proudly affiliated to the Namibian Motorsport Federation, the control body for motorsport in Namibia.
